Coordinator-Use OS

While the mobile suits of the PLANTs are, in fact, mobile suits, the Coordinator-dominated nation has made several non-generalizable strides in what a mobile suit can be. The GINN, the mainstay of the ZAFT fleet, has a phenomenal performance-to-cost ratio... that is utterly inaccessible to most Natural pilots.

A Coordinator-use mobile suit's performance profile relies heavily on its OS, and moreover, the assumptions that OS is able to make about the pilot. A Coordinator who didn't wash out of pilot school generally has stellar reaction time, ability to process data, and G-force tolerance; Coordinator-use MS operating systems take all of this into account. At both the machine and OS level, these MS can afford to make the best assumptions about every aspect of the pilot. A Natural trying to use a Coordinator-use MS will likely find it provides an uncomfortable barrage of information, is physically draining, and expects a lot of micro-adjustments for combat functions that a standard Jegan or GM II might not.
