A B-Type Device, or "brain computer," was a pilot support "AI" briefly used in the 0070s.
It was later revealed that B-Type Devices used live human brains as a means of managing targeting data.
The manufacture of a B-Type Device with a human brain is legally considered a crime against humanity, but occasionally, B-Type setups are used with dolphin brains for navigation.
