It had been something of a gamble, stepping into an event so public-facing, with so much focus on one's self, but Rikka finds that maid training... actually went pretty well! It /was/ a little exhausting, though - but no more than Rikka usually finds herself exhausted from social interactions since even before the incident.

She returns to Aya as the sun starts to set, and right now, she just wants sit down and relax a little. She barges right through the front door, onto the shop floor. With a sigh of relief she lets herself collapse onto the couch, staring up at the ceiling and shutting her eyes as a piece of paper slipping out of her hands and onto the floor.

Naturally, this is going to draw attention. Orie Takarada who, given the hour, is currently spending more time watching television(some old show featuring the animated personas of some comedians, Rikka never really bothered learning the name) than watching out for customers, rotates her chair around at the sound of her daughter's dramatic sigh, offering her a smile.

"Oh, hey there, kiddo, didn't hear you come in. Welcome back." Orie greets, subtly looking her over. "So... how was it? Did you have a good time? ...Nobody made you uncomfortable or anything?"

Rikka takes another few moments to just relax before bringing herself back down to earth(metaphorically speaking), looking back down at Orie.

"Well... it was work, but it wasn't bad. ...And, no, nobody got too weird." Rikka replies, and hesitates before admitting, "...It was a /little/ fun, though. And it was kind of nice dressing up with everyone. ...I got a lot of compliments."

"Good, good." Orie nods, satisfied. "Do you want me to get you anything?"

She makes to stand up - and that's when she spots the forgotten paper, slipped out of Rikka's hands.

"Oh, you dropped something." Orie says, leaning down to pick it up... and the text catches her eye. Rikka watches her with a sense of growing dread. She can practically /see/ the gilla signs forming in her mother's eyes.

"...You're planning something, aren't you." Rikka says with a doomed sigh. Orie places a hand over her heart in a gesture of pretend insult.

"Why, I never! Me...?" Orie replies - but that signature grin of hers is telling. "Buuut... It might be fun to do a little dressing up, myself~. And if your friends are interested in doing it again, then /maybe/ I might have some... redecorations, in mind for the shop."

Her expression goes a little more serious at that.

"...As long as you're okay with it, that is. You /can/ say no." Orie assures. Rikka gives it some thought, and then shakes her head.

"...No, I'm okay with it. I'll get in touch with everyone and see what they think." Rikka replies with a nod. At that, Orie smiles.

"Great. And /I'll/ get to getting a new sign made. I'm thinking... 'Cafe Aya'." Orie considers. She slips behind the counter to fetch her daughter something to drink - and Rikka takes the opportunity to let out a dramatized, aggrieved sigh - but even she can't hide the beginning of a smile tugging at the edge of her lips. It /might/ be fun, after all...
