- Summary: Kaname gets the news about Tsutsujidai's disappearance, and Sousuke's along with it.
Kaname Chidori ought to have been in school at this hour. Instead, she sat at a desk in an office, or something resembling one–the desk upon which her terminal sat was a plastic folding table, the office itself a converted storage room in a small Mithril facility beneath the streets of Jindai. Hardly the sort of accommodations one would expect for Heart-2 (Acting, as she so often reminded herself), the de facto head of the Shuffle Alliance's communications and outreach division.
But she'd made do so far, and there were more important things on her mind.
Mostly, right now, she was trying very hard not to vomit.
Tsutsujidai was gone.
The report in front of her explained the event in detail courtesy of a 3G contact, in words she shouldn't have understood. Knowledge bubbled up from memories she didn't have.
A gaping hole in reality.
But that wasn't what scared her most. She'd been staring at the MIA list attached to the report. At one codename.

Her mind was racing in circles. What happened? Were they safe? Were the laws of physics where they were even compatible with life?
What if he never came back?
After a singularly unpleasant second meeting with her breakfast, Kaname calmly made her way to ground level. Passing by several offline Arm Slaves, she stepped outside through a side door, into the parking lot of what claimed to be a GeoTron Electronics garage.
Lifting her eyes to the moon hanging in the morning sky, Kaname looked about 30 degrees to the left, where she assumed the PLANTs sat, too small and too dark to see.
She took a deep breath... and began to scream, at the top of her lungs. "I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU DON'T COME BACK ALIVE, I'M GOING TO KILL YOUR ASS MYSELF... SOUSUKE SAGARA!!!"
