  • Summary: Ed and Popuko hangout while Ed makes some modifications and Popuko plays video games.

Edward is wearing an advanced looking headset that seems to zoom in and out like some kind of microscopic camera lens. She sits inside of a red Fuchikoma intently soldering, screwing things in, replacing parts. "Is Popuko sure this doesn't hurt?"

The Fuchikoma chimes in with an almost child-like, gender neutral voice, "I'm perfectly fine! That factory was boring and your house is full of cool games!" The Fuchikoma is actually going wild with a controller, playing some retro puzzle game on a CRT.

"Jailbreaking Popuko isn't the hard part. It's proprietary paaaaarts! Ed hates proprietary parts..." Ed complains while continuing to change out little bits of metal for other bits. "It's very cruel y'know, what if Popuko wants a flight simulation setup installed???"

"I've never thought about that!" Popuko considers, sounding as if this is enlightening new information as she feverishly presses buttons on her controller. "What if I had laser eyes?"

"Cooooooool!" Ed perks up while sparks are flying in the cockpit.

"Oh oh, I could become a combiner robot, with a Gundam!" Popuko continues to enthuse.

"Ed thinks she needs magic stones for that." Ed rubs her chin in thought. "But maybe if Ed gets lots of funds we can use science to make a combiner robot!"

"I'll be a superhero!" Popuko sounds excited, which causes her to make a few mistakes in her game.

"For now you can be a mighty steeeeed! Like in a cowboy movie." Ed lifts her goggles and puts her tools down, leaning over to rest her chin on Popuko's head, watching the game. "Yeeehaw Popuko!"

Popuko plays the sample of a horse neighing.

Ed hmms for a moment. "Let's play a racing game."

"Oooh I know a good one!" Popuko is already looking through Ed's game stack after sitting the controller down. "I hope you like drifting!"

"DRIFTIIIIIIIIIIING!!!" Ed shouts excited as she thrusts her hands into the air.

They will be playing video games and eating snacks for the rest of the night.
