- Summary: Celebro-inhabiting-Hass makes his way to school. There he encounters an annoyance who presents an intriguing enigma.
Day 1.
This new meat had yet another daily occupation, and the mere thought of maintaining it made him want to Rise as something that could shoot lightning bolts. But it was usually useful to keep it up for a little while.
For instance...on the way to this mandatory educational chore, he heard someone coming.
Hass' body swung, meeting the eyes of the oncoming brunette. Brown hair. Red hairclip. Is that a--no, no. That's plastic.
Good.
"Haaaaass" chimed the girl, and threw her arms around the body. Ugh. Clingy. The blaster came to his hand, shifting its mode with a twist of his puppet's thumb.
She stepped back. "Huh? Something wrong? You seem--"
He swung the blaster up and she had just enough time to look alarmed before a haze of green light emitted from the underslung washer. It entered her head and sank in deep.
"You will help my work," he said, eyes casting about for something useful to do.
"Always, Hass," the girl said.
....weird reply but alright. "Retrieve a sample from the stone kaiju."
The girl's head tilted, her scrambled brain slow to work. "I do not know what you mean."
Celebro squinted green eyes and then turned, to the massive lizard form visible to anyone with eyes looming overhead. "There," he said. "Retrieve a sample."
The girl looked, too. "I do not see anything."
Oh, she was an idiot. "The--"
Wait.
....no....
Under the mask, one side of the body's lips curled. "Kiete karekareta....perception control...?"
She turned. "Come. You'll bring others to me."
"Sure thing, Hass," the girl said.
