- Summary: Mamoru and Ikumi come to visit Alouette in the hospital. She lays her worries and emotions before them.

Another long and slow day in the hospital for Alouette. She is cleared to leave within the next days, but 3G is nothing if not thorough, and have been checking for any unnoticed symptoms. After all, they are once again undergoing the medical scare that is Algernon. She hasn't told anyone about her conversation with Akane, either. Nobody in security made mention of her.. but either way Alouette knows she needs to find a way to warn the others about Akane's plans for Paris.
After finally succumbing to sleep for much of the day, Alouette is awakened by a knock on the door. She is happy to have visitors whether they are friendly or not. It's *something* better worrying not just about her own condition, but also any potential attacks. "Ah.. come right in," she offers, still a bit groggy from waking up.

Alouette was visited once before, during the first time she could have visitors. Mamoru and Ikumi came to check on her, make sure she'd be okay, before running off to prepare for possible emergency sortie, as the only pilots left operable. They didn't have time to really chat.
But right now is their break, so they're here. The knock is once, gentle. Ikumi opens the door, checking blindspots before fully entering, as Mamoru proceeds after with a smile and...a teddy bear. "Wa-ha! Alouette, hello!"
Ikumi just nods. "Pommier, we got some leave to visit. How are you?"
While Ikumi does his usual 'checking threat vectors so he can get Fully Comfortable', Mamoru brings the teddy bear up and puts it on her end table. "I got you this friend! You can name him whatever you'd like." It might come off as treating her like a child, easily.
But, no, Mamoru would do this to *Guy* to cheer him up.

Ikumi enters the hospital room first, and Alouette's eyes light up. He's really changed a lot, even in the short time she's known him.. before she couldn't say if he would take the initiative like this around her but she's really appreciative. Warm and friendly Mamoru enters closely behind him, and she's happy to see him too. "Ikumi! Mamoru! Thank you both for coming again.. it means more than you can know, really." Turning her head up to look at the two boys, she continues. "I'm doing a lot better, I think. If everything goes well, I should be able to resume work in a few days." She was recommended to take it easy on the work, but no chance she will actually listen to that suggestion. That is, if she can find something she can do. GaoFighGar v.2. wasn't making very much progress..
Mamoru gives her a teddy bear, and she.. doesn't take this treatment as a slight. Although she would prefer to be treated as an equal, and she might get pouty about it a few months ago, she's come to understand this is the type of warmth Mamoru affords everyone, so it's fine by her. Besides, she's a secret liker of cute things like this. Reaching her right arm, which she can more easily move, to the end table, she squeezes the bear. "Merci, Mamoru! He is very cute." A genuine smile on her face. "I'm bad at names, but I'll think of something," she giggles.
Once the atmosphere in the room settles, Alouette figures it might be a good time to mention what's really been on her mind. "There *is* something I'd like to tell you both. I trust you so..." Her smile turns more into a frown. "Akane Shinjo. I'm not sure how but she visited my room the other day. She also briefly mentioned trying to get the help of BioNet France." She doesn't mention Akane trying to break her spirit, that is.. more personal.

"Take a vacation." Ikumi says. It's actually a joke! It's hard to tell. But he seems relieved she's fine, as Mamoru wa-has again in response to the bear being taken.
But there's little time for joy. Akane Shinjo...in the Orbit Base?! Mamoru speaks first. "What? BioNet France...she's in danger, and so is everyone else..."
Ikumi takes it from a different aspect. "That explains the station weight-shift people were concerned about. We get alerts for unusual changes. If she was here...she's either goading us, or showing off. If she has the ability to appear wherever she wants, she just played her hand by revealing it. We may have to take decisive action to help her."
"Are you alright with this, Pommier? I know you were concerned for her, as part of the Tsutsujidai defense team."

Alouette's eyes widen a bit, when Ikumi suggests taking a vacation, not quite catching the joke in time. "A vacation..? But there's so much to-" She stops, not wanting to worry Ikumi too much. "I was actually going to spend some time with friends I made in Tsutsujidai at this year's Deculture Festival, but by the time I get out, it'll almost be over.." Trying to look at the positives, she adds, "But we will always have more opportunities like that, I'm sure.. once everything settles down."
Mamoru mentions that Akane's plan will put herself in danger, and Alouette nods. "From what we gathered in Kabukicho, she doesn't seem too familiar with how BioNet carries out their operations. What if they decide she's hindering their plans and, get rid of her? They would not be above that..."
"I imagine this new teleportation ability is from the help of Alexis Kerib. She was always content to stay holed up in Tsutsujidai, this explains how she got to Kabukicho at all."
At the mention of decisive action, Alouette also nods to Ikumi. "I know it's a lot to ask with 3G so busy, but if you can, I would like you to keep an eye on 3G France. Besides, Mother is still living there.. I want to make sure she's safe."
When asked if she's okay with this, Alouette shakes her head. "I'm not sure... I wish I could go myself. I still want to help her, and she only seems to be doing worse. If BioNet or the Federation forces get ahold of her instead, they might not be as merciful." She sighs, but she's glad to be able to talk about it.

Ikumi does not reveal he joked, because it'd ruin the mood. No one will ever know. "Of course."
"It's a risk. BioNet isn't known for being kind, and she's likely to be seen as disposable..." Mamoru shudders slightly. "But we'll protect her. We're Braves!"
Ikumi nods, and then thinks. "Your mother will be protected. If Shinjo can teleport, as well as has that Alexis Kerib on her side, we can't capture her. We don't want to injure her. So the only way we can reach her..." He's struggling for an answer, even though it's on the tip of his tongue. It's Mamoru who helps him out.
"Is through the heart!" Ikumi nods with a smile to Mamoru's quick reply, before turning to Alouette.
"If you want us to keep guard on free hours, we can. She may return, and you're at risk."
Mamoru ehes, rubbing the back of his head. "I'll need to get my handheld...I'm grinding the GM-kun to level 100!"
Ikumi does not sigh, outwardly. "Once you're out, you can help by making sure GaoGaiGo is ready for launch. ...and then take a vacation."

Ikumi offers Alouette some logic, and Mamoru continues with the spirit of a Brave. Both resonate with her, although emotionally, she can't help but think of an Akane where even Alexis Kerib has abandoned her, leaving her completely alone and fully vulnerable. But.. "You're right. The heart. I think I needed to hear that." If that's a possibility, then it's only more true that the "heart" is the only way they can save her, after all Tsutsujidai was made from the darkness in it.
Ikumi then offers to keep guard with Mamoru, which she would appreciate, if only for the company, but she doesn't want to keep them from more important things; everything else 3G is dealing with is just as important. "I'd be happy to spend time wi- have your protection. Although if you're worried about that, I really doubt she will physically hurt me. Without a kaiju." She preferred the emotional knife.
Mamoru brings some much needed light to the mood and Alouette smiles. "Good luck with that!" And to Ikumi.. "We have a deal. Just so long as I can be there when it happens."

As Alouette says what she needed to hear, and then says she'll accept their protection, both young men smile. Ikumi nods. "Of course. Now-"
Their communicators both go off. Ikumi grabs his first. "Station weight shifted. Probable intruder alert."
Mamoru grimaces. "It's not in here...could it be Guy? Oh no, we..." He's about to react on instinct, but he knows what he both wants and needs to do - something Ikumi already decided.
"We need to protect Alouette. In case it's a diversion, too..."
Ikumi nods. "Besides, they'll have all security personnel pursuing. If they needed us, we would be beeped. Looks like you won't be able to get your game yet, Mamoru."
Mamoru pauses. It sinks in. "No! -wait, sorry, that seems rude, ehe..." He rubs the back of his head towards Alouette. "Once the warning's gone and we have an update, we can give you some space! But for now, Amami and Kaidou, Bodyguards Extraordinaire! We fight crime!"
Ikumi now visibly sighs, even if the humor helps from the tension of the alert. "I wish I could contradict you even a tiny bit."

Alouette's head jolts upwards at the mention of a probable intruder. It definitely isn't Akane, she made it clear she wouldn't be seeing her again until Paris. It could be nothing but.. her mind instantly thinks to the worst possible scenarios. She wants to urge Mamoru and Ikumi to go make sure everything is okay, especially with Guy still injured and potentially at risk, but they've made their decision.
Despite her worries, Alouette is.. overwhelmed with happiness, though. That they would show so much care for her, even in a world where there shouldn't be a place for her. So overwhelmed in fact that she lightly begins to cry. "No, you don't need to-"
Wiping the tears from her eyes, she lets out a quiet "Thank you for staying."
