In the Ra Mari's mess hall, a sign has been left on the piece of wall informally reserved as a bulletin board. Elsewhere on the ship, a figure has been spotted sidling up to squad leaders for a quick word in their ear. Pilots returning from rough or lengthy patrols are approached as they leave their mobile suits. Slowly, word is getting around.
And that word is, apparently, that someone is here to listen.
The Ra Mari's complement now includes a civilian specialist: a therapist and counsellor who has been brought on board to provide guidance and advice for any pilots, crew - or apparently anyone else who chooses to visit - who find themselves needing it. A room has been assigned to her and remodelled with what furniture she could requisition into a cross between an office and an infirmary, with a couple of bunks behind a curtain and a comfortable couch. Minae can generally be found here if she's not out and about the ship, and is remarkably flexible when it comes to making time for people.
The other piece of gossip going around is that the therapist herself is not human, but a Super AI. This can occasionally lead to some misunderstandings or misgivings on the part of one side or the other - or stranger situations, such as Minae 'sleeping' as one of the computer monitors swivelled around to talk to a visitor instead. It's fine. Probably.
