Sagiri Sakurai is often boorish and sometimes crude, but that is the life of the salarywoman dubbed 'The Fallen Angel.' A 27-year old rising star in the megacorporation called the VTX Union, she has been freshly promoted to manager of Special Section 3, a new, semi-autonomous start-up dedicated to testing mobile weapons and becoming self-funding. The first testbed is the Tyranado, a mass production candidate pitched to the Earth Federation... and Sagiri flies to prove its quality. Despite her natural piloting talents and snazzy new promotion, Sagiri is a disarming and carefree person, whose nickname has come from a habit of inadvertently charming her fellow salarywomen. Though she has strong (if incidental) leadership abilities and a willingness to look out for her people no matter what, she is shameless about the fact that she's in it for the money.
