Hikaru is one of the three ace Aestivalis pilots stationed on Nergal's cutting edge battleship, the Nadesico, after disaster struck her home colony of Satsuki Midori 2 at the hands of the Jovian Lizards. Despite her tragic past that left her orphaned, Hikaru has a surprisingly sunny outlook on life. Cheerful and energetic, she’s yet another “weird” face that makes the Nadesico crew what it is. Hikaru is an aspiring mangaka and her current hyperfixation is cult classic anime Gekiganger 3.
