Gekiganger 3

Gekiganger 3 -- and its half-sequel, half-rebrand third cour, Gekiganger V -- is a mecha anime dating back roughly 100 years. It enjoys a modestly-sized cult following; it has also become something of a curiosity among pilots and weapon designers for being somewhat prescient. While no individual machine quite bears Gekiganger's design hallmarks, many elements can be seen in modern mobile weapons, here and there.
