By any metric, Elan Ceres has an impressive resume. He's Peil Technologies's top pilot; he's the head of Peil House at Asticassia School of Technology; he's a member of Asticassia's Dueling Committee, and a highly-ranked duelist therein; he's intelligent, refined, and has a handsome face. Yet none of it seems to mean anything to him. As bright as his future must be, he's distant and reserved, nigh indifferent, and almost no one has ever seen him smile. His female (and some male) fans call him 'the Ice Prince' as a result. That said, he also isn't bothered by things others would find scandalous, and judges others by what they do instead of by their reputation. Perhaps it's simply the gifted's way of holding oneself above the cruelties of the universal century?

Description

Elan Ceres wears the same uniform other students of Asticassia School of Technology do, but with his own unique flairs. The uniform itself is well-kempt, black along the upper chest and lined in red atop the shoulders with a matching V-shaped insignia on his left breast, and gray-green down the arms and torso. Black drapes hang down his jacket sleeves to just past his elbows. The jacket is kept closed, and the wrist cuffs fold back in black with another line of red.

Buttoned underneath his jacket, his pleated slacks, which are a solid gray-green, end shortly above his knees as other students' do. Unlike other students, several gray diamonds press white silk scarf loops to his throat and chest in place of the faux tie the uniform normally includes. White gloves keep his hands concealed, and black shoes slip over matching knee-high socks.

His physique is lean but athletic, and he stands at about 190 cm, or 6'3"--quite tall even for the older teenager he is. At times, his yellow-green eyes seem to focus on everywhere and nowhere at once. Soft white tassels dangle from violet globes that in turn hang from his earlobes. His nape-length lime blond hair is trimmed stylishly in back, forming a pointed flare that rings his head, while long bangs cover his forehead and frame his face.

He has such a pretty face.

A pity he's never known to smile. His expression and tone are both deadpan, and though he's generally polite, he's also generally disinterested. To those who call him the Ice Prince, though, that's a feature, not a bug.
