"Dear diary..." Yuliana is dictating, today, into her headset; she's been working on ''using'' accommodations in therapy, and since spelling and reading can leave her so anxious, she doesn't ''have'' to ''write'' in a diary. It means her enthusiasm isn't dampened, as she squeals: "... Elya's been taking me on ''romantic dates!'' Ahhh!" The dictation software, admittedly, struggles to put down the sound of her kicking her legs into the air in delight; luckily, the recording is archived, too. (Of course Yuliana lets her wife peruse her diary. She ''specifically'' gave her permission.) "She's been so ''nice!'' I'm so lucky...! Ahhh, our anniversary's coming up, too!" She wriggles, on the fainting couch, hands clapped to her cheeks. "I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait!! Whatever she wishes to give me, I want it all...!"

(A voracious hunger which says, perhaps, more than she means to say. She deserves everything her wife wishes to give her, after all.)

"I love my wife!" She declares to her tablet, clapping her hands together in front of her instead. "At least the people at the Photon Power Labs understand that. You know that Dr. Kimura's always asking me about Elya and the children? He's actually worried about them too! Haa, not that I didn't think he had good motives, for a while... but I guess those people aren't the kind of people that were in the Institute. ''He'' wouldn't grill me for days about where my necklace came from." Yuliana pouts, and it's evident in her voice, too. "They hated how I had a girlfriend! Though I guess they were really worried someone else was experimenting on me."

A light pause, an offended huff, "I hope no one thinks that ''now.'' You know, I was thinking about it when that cyborg brought it up? That Liam. He was a BioNet experiment, you know. Well, it's true we have a lot of contacts there... and especially Elya. ''Dr. Murasame'' certainly had the wrong impression," she says, instantly dour. "But it's really not like that!"

Yuliana sighs, sinking back into her couch, an arm reaching up to rest on its sloped backrest. "Now heaven is empty, it's not like we have many friends left... but I don't wish to work with the likes of BioNet, you know. Don't get me wrong -- Milly's a darling girl, and Julia is a riot, but overall... I'm all too aware that they'd love to get their hands on me, if not for Elya's disapproval. Meat in the shark tank... no, I don't like it." Her fingers drum on the backrest, as she looks up at the chandelier above. "Not that that I begrudge Elya her associations, either," she adds, thoughtfully. "I know she's different to those wretched souls like Murasame... but humanity is inevitably wary of powers like hers, so I'm aware of her cooperative limitations."

Yuliana's quiet is registered both in the dictation metadata and in the raw recording.

"... now Celestial Being is routed..." When she speaks, she speaks slowly, and not without trepidation, "... where are we to go? I have no wish to consort with men who install hardwired overrides into their soldiers, but it's just as true that this world largely hates us, now. I can't travel as I like any more... if I'm not careful, the bounty hunters will see right through my story, let alone ''NUNE.''" Yuliana sighs, again, overburdened. "I can't ask Sayaka to bear the burden of protecting me ''publicly,'' I suppose, with so much opposition. My shelter with the Labs... I know it isn't permanent. And I can't just disappear into the background... not while the Silent Calling looks to me to ease their persecution. I'm responsible for them..."

She's quiet, a moment longer, before the sound of her weight lurching forward registers. "It bothers me," Yuliana says, planting her feet to the floor again. "The world keeps turning."
