'Juri! Come on! We're going to go grab some dinner. You can finish that function later, it's not going anywhere. Literally! The legs still aren't built.'
'That part would always confuse me. But it makes a lot more sense now! Thanks, Juri.'
'Hey Juri, if you want you can come stay with us for the holiday! I know your family is... Well. You should come! It'll be great.'
'Juri, there's one on your tail!'
'Phew, that was close! Thanks, Juri.'
'Come on, Juri! Just one more try. You'll get it this time, you'll see!'
'Don't worry, Juri. We're a team! We've got your back. You'll see. We'll get through this together and WAH WAH WAH WAH-'
Juri jolts awake as her alarm goes off. She quickly moves to press the button to silence it, before glancing at the time on her screen. She quietly muses, "About four hours..."
Juri sits up in her seat, beginning to go through a check of her Astray's systems to make sure everything is still good. Without proper facilities she couldn't really fully repair her machine from the damage it sustained in the initial battle. But she patched up what she could.
Juri brings up the map she had managed to recover. On the one hand, it's nice to have. On the other... The colony is big. And the frequent malfunctions have a habit of closing off some paths and opening others. Juri isn't sure if it's general equipment decay or a result of the apparently experimental power source... But it's making progress difficult.
She's not even sure what's happening inside the colony, any more. If only she could call the transport that had brought her here... But the interference is too strong. Thanks, Minovsky.
She should keep going.
She should find out the source of the strange signals and transmissions.
She should learn the secrets of this place. That'll be a real accomplishment!
Juri pulls her knees up to her chest, burying her face into them and whispering quietly, "Asagi... Mayura..."
