The abstract version of the text that is available to the public is much less concrete in its details, studies, the research conducted, and other elements than the full paper, but an excerpt is included below.

"Evolution is change over time, not something enacted by the individual. Adaptation is something a species undergoes, not a single member of said species. These facts are part of humanity's understanding in science. The existence of extraterrestrial life forms has not changed these facts, but the proliferation of genetic engineering, cybernetic alterations, and the fabrication of life itself whole-cloth have been thrown into stark illumination by their arrival in the Earth Sphere. In humanity's quest to reach the stars, we have acclimated, and over time we have even adapted to life in space, resulting in the appearance of various sub-species of humans.

Along the way, however, billions have perished, and multitudes more will follow this fate if science does not begin preparing counter-measures to mortality. Allowing change to occur over time at its natural pace will lead to waste, death, and potentially extinction. This paper, thus, is an examination of the medicinal methods and technological apparatuses necessary to forcibly adapt humans to survive in any environment. We must be capable of leaving our solar system fully and easily, and spread across the stars, before our own Sun expands to consume us. The path this paper proposes is one of Human Augmentation Devices (H.A.D.) and Medical Bio-Systems (M.B.S.). Though they may appear the same, they are distinctly different technologies with very different procedures. Detailed below are the methods examined thoroughly across a population of three-hundred-thousand over the course of six years, and the benchmarks for the continued observations over the ten-year, fifteen-year, and two-decade time periods that follow."

The paper goes on to list surgical procedures, the use of various immune-system inhibiting drugs and their respective benefits, side-effects, and the expenses of their manufacture, as well as the grafting of cloned tissue grown around an H.A.D. from the start, and the manufacture and fusion of organic M.B.S. into an existing bodily system to improve or replace natural human anatomical structures to cure genetic disorders and neutralize congenital birth defects and hereditary conditions by swapping out the "substandard" parts for cloned replacements and organic machinery.
