Hikaru is one of the pilots from the Nadesico's 'Three Angels' squadron, along with her wingmates Ryoko Subaru and Izumi Maki. Hikaru is cheerful and eccentric to the point of seeming like little else than an anime-obsessed airhead. Beneath the surface, Hikaru is a crafty person on and off the battlefield - always seeming to know exactly how to keep herself just out of harm's reach. Though this extends to her interpersonal relationships, her fellow pilots and crew of the Nadesico have come to be people she can trust and count on. Off the battlefield, Hikaru's true talent lies in her artistry - she will /always/ be willing to tell you all about her doujins.
