It has been a few weeks since the PLANT colony was infiltrated and problems had been introduced into the production line and a week since a Macross unit was deployed to try to quiet the release of Blue Cosmosintelligence.
Since then the security around the occupied PLANT colony has been enhanced, squadrons of Long Dagger have been deployed and perform constant patrols. Not even cargo frights have been allowed in without hours of checks and verifications.
Commander Thompson sits in the administration office as he is in the middle of a conversation with an unknown individual on the other end, " That fool Khushrenada should have been suppressing the media. Where is the rest of G-Hound's support?! If this was the lightning count he would be bending over backwards for him!" The other end of the call speaks up with a chuckle, " I would not count on Treize, but if all goes to plan he won't matter soon. Remember Commander, Blue Cosmosis only in control of this dilapidated rat nest until Battleship leaves the area. Afterwards we have no use for it. The colonel won't get an opportunity to give back hope to the trash."
Suddenly a private enters teh administration office, "Commander Thompson sir, operations has reported that a sizable fleet is approaching sir!" Commander Thompson scoffs as he stands, "They could not have delayed another day. Sound the alarm, prepare to defend the colony. Also tell them to ready the Cerberus for flight."
Outside the colony squadrons of Long Daggers form up as they prepare for the incoming storm.

It's what Haman Karn taught her when facing down the barrel of her gun.
Banagher protected her by taking an anti-fleet reaction missile head on.
And now today she protects him with a much simpler act.
Telling him 'No.'
Asking him to stay in his sickbay bed. Asking him to trust her to handle it.
It was her turn to protect him.
The MP double Zeta's thrusters flare as she hurtles through space to the PLANT. Pinging as a friendly to the ZAFT forces on her IFF.
"<This is Spade-7, moving to assist the ZAFT fleet.>" Her distorted voice crackles over the comms.
There's so much anger in her thinking about the PLANT.
The Work Camp to build a war machine, the attempted genocide of the old and infirm. The scheming of Treize Khushrenada.
Earthnoids paving their ambitions with Spacenoid blood.
Some may argue that 'They're just after Coordinators.' but she knows that tomorrow that they could be the next coming of the Titans - and then comes the gassing of colonies like Shangri-la for stepping out of line.

G-Hound seemed to report fairly late, but there is a presence! Notably, this comes in the form of the Rabscuttle.
The vessel is still looking a bit damaged from a recent encounter. However, unlike usual, it seems to be covered in a group of Mobile Suits. Almost like a series of beetles gathering upon the shell of this beetle.
As the fleet approaches, it suddenly fires an enormous beam into the midst of the approaching fleet. A large warning shot with an anti-ship style Megabeam weapon. However, it's remaining near the colony, not approaching the group of ZAFT and allied forces.
It just sits there, almost eerily silent. Its mono-eye staring out into space. There is no vocal warning or the like. And in fact, when Leina approaches, she doesn't feel that old cool presence for some reason. Instead, it's something... else. Something more calm.

"Leina," Banagher had said, pleadingly. "It's been a week, and it's not that bad. The Unicorn and I are both almost as good as new!"
That hadn't worked. Neither had the second, or third angles he'd tried.
At least he insisted on coming to see her off, waving as the MP ZZ takes off. Haro in his arms, Banagher sighs, walking up to the quiet form of the Unicorn.
"Leina." Haro chirps, quietly. "Leina."
"I know, buddy." Banagher says, looking down at his own Gundam. "But she's right. We're not at 100% yet."
The Unicorn offers no opinion, her single-horned form silent and dim in the hangar. She's well on the way to being fully repaired, with the exception of her shield. That is still being pieced together, the psychoframe base complicated and difficult to fix. At least he's well enough to message Audrey, or play something with Haro. Since the little companion robot has arms (and hands!) now, they've been working on building dexterity. Simple video games were recommended.
As Banagher is about to return to sick bay, awareness flashes across his mind. The battle, if it goes poorly -- fire, screams, destruction. The events to come meld with the memories of his own Colony's destruction. The sound of Leina crying in helpless rage echoes through the vision, until--
"Banagher! Banagher!" Haro floats in front of his face, calling urgently.
Sweating, the young man glances back down to the Unicorn. "...I'm okay. But we're heading out. Haro, please send a message to Audrey telling her we'll both be back soon."

Blue starlight trails after the brilliant white Gundam, chasing after the MP ZZ. With her abilities, she'll catch up before anything goes wrong. Or so Banagher prays, thinking of the God Leina sometimes calls out to. So far, the machine remains in its single-horned incarnation. Banagher doesn't want to find out what the NT-D could do to him while he has a concussion.
Sending a message directly to the MP ZZ, Banagher sounds apologetic. "<Leina, I'm sorry, as soon as you left I got this awful vision. I had to be here!>"

Leina remembers all those people they found starving, dehydrated, wallowing in human filth within the crates of a water purification plant.
Stains of blood from executions on the walls.
There's no visible attack from Spade-7 at first, simply a building pre S S U R E.
A cold rage that spreads out over the squads of Long Daggers.
All within those mobile suits but the most set in their ways Oldtypes feel it.
That sudden buildup of stress, that icy chill that raises goosepimples.
She may be a touch upset.
However in that welling buildup of psychic energy she feels- "Banagher?!"
He sends his message, and that feeling becomes intermingled with distress amongst the ever rising anger.
A message is sent to the Unicorn, "<You. Saw. A. Vision?!? We... are going to discuss this later, after we are back. For now stay behind me.>"
A vision, great. She trusts that kind of intuition a great deal but she can't help but be upset.
Why couldn't the universe conspire to keep him in bed for once! It was a reaction missile for the love of...

Captain Himeyuri Oono is... upset. She is upset that this occupation got past defenders. She is upset by the treatment of ZAFT by the vile Earthlings. She is upset that she found out about said treatment *because* of the vile Earthlings.
And so it is that when it comes to this battle, Himeyuri is deploying herself. "XO Zelinn, you have the bridge. See to it that these monsters can't launch."
The Revernova Otome, in all it's pink sakura petal colours and the ornate heart on the back, may seem a ridiculous machine. The weapons it is carrying are not. A giant sniper rifle with a large energy backpack is carried, along with it's repulsion shield and needlegun.
"<...Acknowledged, Earthling.>" Her voice is calm, but it's cold. Unusually cold for the happy young woman. She starts thinking about the calculations necessary. They're...

The ZAFT fleet approaching the occupied PLANT is not especially large. Apparently the rumours about ZAFT's forces being stretched thin are proving to be true. But there's still enough to present a threat.
While the majority of the ZAFT fleet moves to engage the general forces, following the charge behind Himeuri and Michiru, a small part of it turns its focus towards the source of that large megabeam.
<"Grayson team, you're with me. Engage that craft.">
The sole white CGUE in the ZAFT fleet breaks from the formation, making a line straight towards the Rabscuttle. It's followed by four GINNs which move in to follow.
As the team of GINNs following Rau's lead get into range, they begin to open up with their machine guns. While Rau's CGUE itself simply hangs back a bit, watching the results of their charge.

Rau has seen the Rabscuttle and the Hazel Gundam it hides previous to this. The way that pilot pilots. This feels different. Did they make another Rabscuttle already? Can another pilot possibly even pilot the Rabscuttle with the kind of effectiveness it normally requires?
As Grayson Team approaches alongside the white CGUE, the eight 'beetles' on its back break loose, while another four turn around, moving closer to the colony's Hangars in order to defend it -- in case of any break-throughs from ZAFT.
Thethered to the Rabscuttle, four Taurus units transform from Waverider mode into their regular mobile unit stance, lifting their beam cannons towards the approaching army as the enemy team lets their machine guns do the talking. Their bullets tear across the Rabscuttle's armor, but the machine doesn't try to outmaneuver it. Instead, it moves forwards. The heavy tethers tying in the Taurus units helping pull along the machines as they continue their beam fire on position.
The Rabscuttle itself just keeps moving straight forward, proceeding forward with the intent of simply 'ramming' itself into the white leading CGUE!

Not terribly long ago, Michiru had returned to the Socrates in... worse condition than usual. Heavy damage on the Gardnova. On her Galaxia. She didn't feel bad about deploying, even so. After all. If she came back in this condition, what might have happened if she let some of her squad go instead? She couldn't live with herself if one of those girls didn't make it back alive.
Luckily, Hime-hime is a genius, and a skilled hand. So her half of their perfect team is back up and running, just how she should be. She'd explained the situation. That the situation had called for more restraint, because it would endanger the colony and civilians if she'd gone all out. And how the enemy had surprised her, by using an attack she had mistaken for looking like the Gekigan Flare. But couldn't have been, after all, there was no impassioned shout of its name!
Now, the call has come in. A counteroffensive to save an occupied, oppressed force. People who have been mercilessly tortured, enslaved, and murdered. Nobody with the Gekigan Spirit could sit by and allow the atrocities to continue, and so Michiru's passion is ignited to a roaring inferno. It's in that state that she is entering the battlefield, with Hime at her back. And the song of passionate resistance blazing in her heart. "Not a soul will be allowed to harm you so long as I breathe, Hime-hime!" Her breathing syncs to the song as time counts down... "LET'S GEKIGA-IN!"
Maybe she can't trust them, maybe she can. Only time will tell... but if these Earthlings wish to fight alongside ZAFT today... For now Michiru welcomes them. "<Understood. We'll fight with you to bring this occupation to its end.>" As always, she sounds just a little strange, in how she speaks. Slightly archaic. Not quite like the rest of ZAFT. As for the Long Daggers, she'll greet them with the customary weapon. "Filthy, tyrannical monsters... GALAXIA BURNING!" A Rocket Punch, soaring in to grasp one of the mobile suits and smash it into one of its compatriots. Before returning to Galaxia's arm, of course. In flight, the fist almost appears to be on fire...

Rau may have seen the Rabscuttle before, but right now he's having trouble remembering it. A stab of pain shoots through his body, Rau gritting his teeth. The Rabscuttle hasn't even made it to his unit yet...
But its intent is clear as it charges. Pushing the pain away as much as he can, Rau smirks, "Fine." The CGUE stores its machine gun, before reaching for the large blade attached to one of its main thrusters.
As the Rabscuttle comes charging in towards the CGUE, the latter raises its blade with one hand and braces it with the other. The Rabscuttle crashes the raised blade and for a moment, it looks like the CGUE may be able to hold it back.
Only for a moment though.
The CGUE's arms give, the Rabscuttle pushing further towards the machine and impacting proper. The CGUE's armor at the impact point crumples a little, internals behind it crushed by the blow. In the cockpit, Rau grunts at the impact as the force throws him forward into the straps of his seat.
The Rabscuttle continues to carry the CGUE along...
<"Don't think it's going to be that easy!">
The CGUE seems to recover, placing its hands against the Rabscuttle's surface and beginning to push itself away from it. Then as it reaches its arms length, it begins to fire its thrusters hotter and hotter, starting to counter the Rabscuttle's own with perhaps surprising results.

The Long Daggers float about the colony in the direction of the incoming fleet, waiting, preparing but what they dont prepare is a historic gundam dropping in. The appearance of ZZ causes a few to even pull back a bit as if considering making a run for it. No one signs up to fight a gundam after all. The indecisiveness costs one of the pilots their lives as the fist of the Gardnovas rocket fist flies right through its chest before the suit explodes.
The lost of a comrade is enough to wake up those that are still hesitating because of the gundam, as the lead pilot speaks up <" Dont hesitate , its us or them. So end them."> With the weak speech given, the Long Daggers begin to open fire towards the ZZ in a suppressing format. Meanwhile a pair fly towards the Gardnova each with their beam sabers drawn as they attempt to cleave the rocket puncher in two. Further back there is a squad of Long Daggers that are taking more care with their shots, trying to shoot down incoming fighters, including the Revernova.
Inside the PLANT Colony, within the long central shaft sits the prototype battleship, the bridge crew stepping in as the XO speaks up to the rest of the bridge, "The commander will be here at the last moment, are job is to get this ship ready to get out of here before they break through the line. Begin emergency start up protocols!"

As the beam saber skates across the Rabscuttle's massive surface, its I-Field activates, repelling a significant bit of the damage. There's a violent connection between the two, sparks constantly flying. When Rau's voice calls out, there's a reply from someone... else.
<"I will not underestimate you, Coordinator. But this machine will give me enough to stand at your level!"> As the machine starts to be repelled by the CGUE. Hands against its surface. Thruster against thruster. Rau Le Creuset starting to limit its movement, and pushing back the enormous Mobile Armor...
However, the four Taurus units linked to it aren't there just for show, and neither is the tip of the machine. The Taurus units stop firing at Rau's squad mates in that moment, and instead focus on him. At the same time, the top of the machine opens up with a loud KA-CHUNK that can only be heard due to the contact Rau's machine makes to the Rabscuttle.
The large Beam-Emitter does not charge long. In fact, almost immediately after opening it up, a massive spray of flak-style beam-particles scatter forwards, aimed at ripping apart the CGUE.

"<It was the Colony.>" Banagher replies to Leina, quietly. "<Alright, I'll stay back here, and I won't use the NT-D unless I have to. Don't worry about me! Haro's got my back!>"
"<Hands!>" Haro chimes in, as a helpful reminder. Safely nestled next to Banagher, the little companion is ready to do all he can to support his friend! Small though that may be, it certainly matters.
Long Daggers open fire on the MP ZZ, and the Unicorn seems to race even faster. As promised, she stays safely behind Leina, but the enemies who target her are certainly aimed at first. The Unicorn retrieves her beam magnum at Banagher's urging, coming to a halt.
"<On your left!>" Banagher calls to Leina, as the beam magnum glows bright magenta. Shot after shot is fired, targeting as many Long Daggers as he can possibly hit. Banagher's come a long way from his early days of using this weapon, trusting himself to fire with the Colony so near.

"<Don't worry about you!? That's IMPOSSIBLE Dummy!>" Leina definitely sounds upset, but at least she's accepting the reality of the situation. "<You're recovering from HEAD TRAUMA!>"
And then - an Anime OP plays over the comms, and Leina blinks several times, "What? Is that an OP?" Despite her best efforts though, her fingers start to tap on the controls to the rhythm fo the song.
A message is transmitted back to the source, her voice distorted by a changer. "<Um wow! Never heard this one before. It's actually pretty hype! Would you happen to be a Wonderful Persimmon fan?>"
Wait wait, it's serious battle time, it's not time for cultural exchange with ZAFT, no matter how much she wants to!!!
Suppressing fire comes her way and she stops finger tapping to twist the Double Zeta's little sibling to intercept shots from her left at Banagher's warning, it's arm mounted flap like shield eating several shots, even as another grazes across its armor.
And then it's Arm mounted rifle swings up, as she starts firing shot after shot at the Long Daggers, thrusters burning bright to flank around Banagher to try and keep him covered against the suppressing fire.
"<It's my turn to protect you.>" She tells him, again, a smidge of the anger fading from her tone. And she will as many times as she has to.

That's not disturbing. What's so funny?
The CGUE uses its physical blade to get leverage on the Rabscuttle and push itself away from the larger unit's course. As it backs up a little it brings the shield attached on its left arm around in front of it. The shield takes the brunt of the beam spray from the Rabscuttle itself. Meanwhile, the CGUE's movements, though not obviously so, proceed to put its ally GINNs between itself and the Taurus's just as they're firing. One could chalk it up to bad luck or piloting on behalf of the GINNs. But they suffer the through an assault that was meant for Rau. Two take a fair bit of damage, one able to withstand the barrage quite well thanks to quick thinking and taking the hits on its thruster pack which jettisons before it explodes. The fourth unfortunately takes a hit direct to the torso and the energy pack, quickly exploding as a result.
The CGUE raises its left arm, the partially slagged shield still having its attached gatling gun functional. Rau taunts back to the Rabscuttle, <"You have no clue what's coming."> The gatling gun spins up and starts spitting out a stream of bullets.

One Earthling oppressor falls to Galaxia's fist. Within the cockpit, Michi continues to sing along with their anthem of hope, even as she watches the eruption of debris. The things piloting, they aren't human. Humans couldn't cause such cruelty. They're monsters, and monsters don't deserve mercy. Two such monsters dare to come in close. Brave perhaps, but a poor choice. Galaxia raises its hands as the sabers push into its shimmering, distorted barrier. And physically grabs the sabers to crush them, leaving only glancing damage to Galaxia itself. The Long Daggers they match to won't be far behind though, as Galaxia's 'eye' lights up with baleful intent. "Galaxia Shining!"
Those words are all the warning there is, before a focused beam rips out, to bore into the mobile suits and cut them in half with a sweeping motion. It's only then, that she spots a shot firing past her, too late to intervene properly. "Hime! Are you alright?" The laugh is... clearly disturbing to the pilot within, who grimaces a bit, before demanding to know; <"What's so funny?">
The Taurus units shift to the GINNs as Rau disappears behind them. Each individually aiming. Some shots miss. Human pilots within the Tauruses. There's some celebration amongst the links to the Rabscuttle as the group, as some of Rau's allies suffer particular damage - notably the one that goes down.
But they celebrate too early. As the Rabscuttle is forced to adjust its position, the Gatling Gun on Gau's machine finds a perfect aim onto one of the Tauruses - tearing right at the center as they get in the way. Another member of the Taurus squad fires on the tether, cutting it off, as the group continues to move.
It's almost calculated. An understanding not to drag down the team.
<"Then why don't you illuminate me?"> The pilot answers Rau, not a second before that tip once again activates, and a fierce beam suddenly rips through space with enough power to threaten a battleship class vessel!

The Repulsion Shield comes up, and the beam deflects past it, scoring the Gekiganium Alloy. "Hm. No need for the distortion field yet." Still, she hears Vitaly's cold cries toward- and Rau's reassurance that she has no idea what she's up against. "Give that Earthling monster the death she deserves, Le Creuset-san." She won't distract him, just quietly cheer from here. After all, a brave man like him deserves a maiden's support.
A laser comm is sent quickly. "I'm fine, Michi! My Revernova won't bow to something as weak as that! It couldn't even hurt a batta!" Thye smile can be heard in her voice. "Show them what you're made of, Michi!"
And then she gets a return call from the Earthling with the distortion and... They like it? "<Well of course, Let's Go! Gekigangar III! is a song that uplifts the hearts of the just and strikes fear into the wicked. It spurs us like the great heroes of old!>" She raises the needlegun, and opens fire with multiple snapshots at the surrounding long daggers.
"<...But... what *is* Wonderful Persimmon? ...If I was curious.>" Something in the name stirs something in her. Something powerful.

Rau doesn't respond to the comment about what's so funny. He does take a moment to respond the request the follows though, not exactly providing an answer, <"And ruin the surprise? Hmmm... Let's just say what's coming is... A beginning. The rest? Well, you'll just have to wait and see.">
Just as the Rabscuttle is preparing to fire its next barrage, the CGUE gives the three surviving GINNs some hand signals. They form up together, beginning to fly around the Rabscuttle to try and flank it, while laying down suppression fire against the Taurus's.
Meanwhile, the CGUE launches forward, heading straight for the Rabscuttle. The latter fires, the large beam of light streaking out towards the CGUE. The CGUE's thrusters reorient, putting the machine into a spiral that causes it to escape the edge of the beam just before it reaches it.
Straightening again and skimming the beam, the CGUE retrieved its stowed machine gun and raises it towards the Rabscuttle.
<"Assuming you survive that long. Who are you anyway? You don't seem to be the previous pilot of that machine.">
The CGUE begins to fire multiple bursts, trying to wear down the Rabscuttle's thick defenses.

The arrival of the unicorn isn't as worrying as the ZZ Gundam, probably because obviously it is just a unicorn and not a bicorn like all the gundams in the picture. This does not mean they are not wary of it though, as the targets of the Unicorn dodge and move, but the pair are in sync and Banagher and Leina are able to pincer one between their shots, taking it's thrusters and arms in the process, leaving it to float in space.
The two that flew towards the Gardenova are both shocked when their beam sabers are refracted, quickly they begin to back away calling out over comms ,<"The long armed one , has some sort of beamOh no! No, no Aaaaaaa!"> The Revernova's needle gun is an unexpected thing as well, it appears ZAFT was not completely out of tricks. The poor pincushioned Long Dagger though doesn't have time to learn from this new trick before it is left as slag in space.
Commands are given to try and regroup the remaining forces that are being whittled down faster then they can manage, <"Continue suppressing the gundam and their friend. Do not let them put any more pressure on us. As for the other two open up on them with grenades, to take them out quick, but keep your distance. No heroics. "> The squad leader leads by example as he opens up with a grenade launched from the underside of his rifle towards the Gardenova and others follow suit towards the Revanova.
Meanwhile the ZZ and Unicorn are being circled by a group of Long Daggers, a mixture of beam rifles and vulcan cannons erupt from the group trying to suppress the two long enough to deal with the other enemies before they can swarm the gundam and their friend.
Inside the Plant Colony preparations continue, the bridge officer shouts to the XO, "Reactor is coming online , emergency thrusters are ready. " The XO responds, "Tell the Commander we will be ready in minutes, and to start opening the door for our departure."

The thick defenses of the Rabscuttle continue to be slowly worn down. Thick damage adding up quickly. The machine has a very heavy shell, especially at such a size. But Rau is no regular pilot, he knows where to put such shots. The Tauruses all suddenly cut the wire, and flurry off and away from the machine,
The pilot of the Rabscuttle clearly knows he's starting to run into trouble. But he knows to recognize Rau's voice. That white machine. <"But I agree, what is coming is a mere Beginning. A cleaning up.">
Followed by one of the claws unhooking. A single claw, coming forward. Quickly grabbing towards the machine, trying to grab the nearest GINN, before turning and trying to squeeze it into pieces before throwing it towards the CGUE - hoping to cause a detonation to tear into Rau's machine.

The GINN's pilot cries out in distress as his machine is grabbed, almost completely bisected, and then thrown in the direction of its ally.
Rau doesn't flinch at the machine hurtling his way, simply steeling himself and raising his machine's shield up in front of it.
The GINN reaches the CGUE just as the former is about to explode, light blossoming out and engulfing both machines.
But the CGUE comes streaking out of the fireball, shield gone. In fact, the entire left arm is missing up to a scorched stub at the shoulder. Additional scorch marks are sprayed across the white armor of the rest of the machine. And it seems the force of the explosion caused the machine to lose its machine gun, as in its right hand now is simply the physical blade. The last of its weapons.
As the CGUE charges towards the Rabscuttle, Rau chuckles, <"Yes. A cleaning up. A clean slate...">
The CGUE reaches the Rabscuttle, unleashing a pair of strikes to trying and cut further through the machine at a spot that had already taken damage.

Banagher smiles. Being worried over isn't so bad -- not that he wants to upset Leina. He blinks as Leina mentiones Wonderful Persimmon, then can't help laughing quietly. Every day, he's more and more glad he decided on the ribbons for Leina's Christmas gift.
"<Thank you, love.>" Banagher transmits to Leina. "<We'll keep everyone safe. Including each other.>"
As the Unicorn raises her beam magnum to take aim, Banagher is struck again with a flash. Another vision, as he'd explained it to Leina. Bereft of Banagher's guiding hand, the Unicorn goes still. Golden eyes faraway, the young pilot bears witness to...
A gun. He can't see who holds it, or anything around it, just that it moves forward, in time with what must be heavy steps. The entire scene is weighed down with malicious intent. A desire to kill... someone. He can't tell who. One person? Many people? Is this related to the first vision?
With a gasp, he comes back to reality.
His shorts have gone wide, largely, and he glares at the Long Daggers. Using up that much of the beam magnum without much to show for it... Wake up, Banagher! Beam rifle shots fly by Leina and Banagher, and while he's still dazed, one hits the Unicorn straight-on. Without the NT-D activated, it doesn't hurt as badly as it normally would, but being rattled around with a concussion still feels pretty awful.
"<Leina -- another vision, someone's about to be murdered, in the Colony! Maybe more than one person?>" Banagher gasps, trying to clear his head. "<I don't think we can do anything about it!>"
Even as he shouts this warning to Leina, Long Daggers close in around them. Everything blurs in his vision, and Banagher's hands feel so clumsy at the controls. There's no way he can help Leina like this. "<Sorry, I think, I have to do this.>" Banagher sends to her, quietly. "<I can't focus. But I believe in the Unicorn -- she won't hurt me. We can do this together!>"
With that, Banagher takes his hands off the controls, breathes out, and lets go. The Unicorn leaps at this chance, meeting him halfway. The console folds away, and metal arms lower, embracing her pilot. Banagher feels his awareness expand. It aches, against his concussion, making his head spin for a moment. But, as he believed, he can do this. They can do this.
Scarlet light radiates out. The Unicorn transforms, and her horn splits in two. The Beast of Possibility takes the battlefield with a scream of triumph. Her beam magnum is stowed away, and a saber ignites in her hand, magenta light entwining with scarlet.
This is so much easier. Banagher guides the Unicorn with his intention, and she takes care of the rest, charging toward the closest enemy. With graceful movements, the white-and-red Gundam slashes at the nearest Long Dagger, exuding psychic pressure.

The screams and warnings of the enemy pilots never reach Michiru's ears, as she's quite too busy speaking to Himeyuri. "They'll learn all about it Hime-hime. Today I won't hold back an ounce of heroic fury!" Of course, they weren't meant to reach her in the first place. And... sure, they aren't wrong about Galaxia's shielding. But that knowledge can only do so much for them. Still, all the while, Michiru belts out the song of her heart, moving forward with passion.
The next wave attempt grenades. Something they've prepared for dealing with, except... The shot used to catch the grenade early goes stray, missing the arc by the barest margins. Galaxia takes the explosion fully across its imposing form. And floats from the center of the burning cloud, dented and with shrapnel embedded in its body. But still pressing on.
Michiru WAS rocked around in the cockpit, but... This machine was made for her. The two of them are connected, and she glares upon the forces of Blue Cosmos with hateful eyes. Both her own, and those of her mechanical partner. "At every turn, all you seek is death and suffering. To crush people who want no more than freedom and happiness! There's no forgiveness for creatures lacking in HEART!" It might take time to reach them, but Galaxia can fight at many ranges! In this case, as it shoots forward to go deep into the enemy formation, it fires off its own explosive ordinance from both hands. Missiles, shelved within the Galaxia's fingers, pouring out to bombard the enemy wave! "GALAXIA DIGITAL BURST!" Someone hearing that might assume an electronic attack. But no, it's just classic finger missiles, screaming out for the destruction of those who continue to spread hate and pain toward the powerless.

The Rabscuttle shifts that same claw arm, a massive beam saber emitting from it. But unlike its usual pilot, it seems this one is not as capable of using the machine. The CGUE manages to skip by as the Rabscuttle tries to turn. The Tauruses which had spun off begin to open fire on the remaining GINNs instead however, leaving the Rabscuttle pilot to fend for himself for a moment.
This gives Rau exactly the opportunity he was looking for. Getting past the saber, and digs his blade into the machine. Ripping into its inner workings. Sparks fly. Parts of the entire machine stop working. Flickers of light.
There is no Hazel Gundam coming out. There is no Hazel Gundam docked to this machine.
There is however the sudden humm of energy, as the I-Fields suddenly spark on, and the Tauruses open fire, trying to remove Rau from the machine, at risk of damaging the Rabscuttle in the scatter-shot!
<"A clean slate."> The pilot answers Rau, firmly. <"For a clean future.">

Leina struggles to place Gekiganger III, "Where have I heard that title before?" There's, so much anime. Was it on some vintage list of titles online? She's not sure right now, "<I see! I'll have to look it up when I get back home.>"
Before she asks about Wonderful Persimmon and Leina answers, "<It's my favorite Magical Girl anime! Incredible bonding material really! It's heartwarming - uplifting. It meant a lot to me when I was recovering from... something awful.>"
As they're surrounded though, Leina gets a sudden flash of intuition, and when they start firing at far too close a range, she grasps a Beam Saber that ignites a fervent pink.
She comes at them far, far too fast, forcing them to stop the focused barrage to clash with her - and then endangering their fellow Squadron mates should they not cease firing.
Banagher mentions a vision, and while locked in combat with the Long Dagger... she thinks upon that, and her eyes narrow.
It almost certainly has to be someone he's connected with, if he's seeing a vision in the Colony. And there's only one person.
It won't make up for what she's enabled.
"<... You're right. There's nothing we can do. We have to focus on staying alive.>"
Seeing Banagher having a rough time as the Unicorn is battered around by the barrage, there's a sound of frustration from her.
"<Banagher!? Don't! We don't know what will happen with her Psychoframe so damaged!>"
That frustration within her just builds.
"Get out of my way." At close range the hardpoints swivel, and start firing missile after missile in a salvo intended to cripple their machine while they're at far too close a range to intercept them with those vulcans.
She then turns it on another harrying Banagher, trying to blast off its limbs in retribution, and leave the pilot's machine dead in space.

The GINNs exchange fire with the Tauruses, beams and bullets criss-crossing through space. The two more damages GINNs are finally worn down, one exploding while the other takes a hit that doesn't light it up but does partially turn its pilot to ash.
Rau is continuing his assault against the Rabscuttle, raising his blade to plunge through the hole he's opened and well into the machine to hopefully destroy it. However, he senses the Taurus pilots turning to fire on him. Unfortunately he's placed himself in a rather vulnerable position, the Rabscuttle's large form blocking his avenues to evade.
<"COMMANDERRRRRR!">
The final GINN comes streaking in, placing itself directly in front of the CGUE, between it and the Taurus shots. They pepper the machine, putting numerous holes into it until it finally explodes.
Rau is saved... Though his sword now floats off into space, thrown by the exploding GINN. He frowns... There's no point in staying anymore. Looks like the Rabscuttle's pilot will survive.
The CGUE's thrusters fire, the unit launching away from the Rabscuttle and its guard quickly, on the way back towards the center of the main ZAFT forces onsite.

<"He's tenacious... and not afraid to use his own allies. Sokolov would not like this man."> The pilot of Rabscuttle mumbles to himself as he lets out a breath of relief a moment later. The Rabscuttle is suffering from the severe damage it has sustained, and has to burn away...
Though notably, it does not move towards the colony as it retreats, but rather towards G-Hound battleships further in the distance.
The Taurus units however, remain, moving towards the Colony's hangar in order to add additional protection. Ensuring nobody gets in there before the new vessel is ready to launch.

The grenade barrage is too much for the pepperbox pistol to keep up with, and explosions score the elaborate women's unit paintjob and crack the Gekiganium Alloy, and Himeyuri lets out a scream- pitch perfect to 17:32 to 17:36 of Episode 19. The one time Miss Nanako piloted. Of course Michiru will hear that.
"They can't hold out much longer..." Still, she engages the shield and hits something on the repulsion shield- and then a wave of force blasts outwards to force away the Long Daggers closest to her. "<Magical girl... Like Domestic Princess Miri-Miri?>" Now was not the time to talk anime, sure, but...
And then the white one transforms... White and Red. What *is* that? It has the markings of a hero but... could the Earthlings co-opt a hero's face?

The pilots squaring off with the Unicorn were mistaken, terribly mistaken as it shifted to its new form. The form of nightmares for every new pilot that hasn't stumbled upon one on a transport pad. The form of a gundam. The form of a gundam that slashes the legs off a Long Dagger with its beam saber. Next to it another Long dagger is caught in the missiles of the ZZ, the missiles spreading around it before exploding , leaving the chest intact.
The forces that had surrounded the two gundams are beginning to slowly fall back, their vulcan still trying to fire as they make their way back to the colony. They just had to get safe and regroup after all, right?
The Revernova's force blast catches a good group of Long Daggers and shoves that back before the Gardnova's missiles hits the newly formed grouping. The group is turned into slag as the squad leader looks on. <"They, you.You damn ZAFT MONSTERS!!!"> The Long dagger fires shot after shot at the Revernova before drawing it's beam saber attempting to run the Gardnova through, forgetting about the potential beam protection.
The XO is directed to a private comm from the comms officer and takes it , "Yes I... right away. Understood." Ending the conversation he looks at the Bridge crew, "The doors will be opening soon, begin to move out." The battleship begins to move forward as large hangar doors in the center of the PLANT open. Anyone with sensors would notice the hangar beginning to open, it is as if someone is slowly turning on a fountain of Minovsky particles, obscuring any form of sensor readings from the internals of the PLANT colony .

Heavy boots step through the Colony's roomy interior. Right around the same time that the message will come through that the vessel is ready, they get closer to the beautiful home of the 'Governor' of the PLANT.
Men around her shift to the side of the hallway, and salute her, as dirty grey-blonde hair shifts. A military jacket hangs off of her shoulders, sleeves flowing backwards with each step.
She lifts one hand to a man about to step into the office. "Can you ask Thompson's second to join us in his office?" She inquires, before reaching into her pocket and taking out a cigarette packet. A set of taps, removing a cigarette from the bottom, and puts the packet back. Soon, it's lit, and the smoke plumes up as she stares at the closed office door.
Then, a rap of her knuckles on the door.
<"Commander Thompson, am here to speak to you on behalf of G-Hound about reinforcements.">

"<I'm okay!>" Banagher calls back, as the Unicorn finishes its transformation. "<This is -- so much easier, actually. I couldn't focus, but now, she can hear my voice. The Unicorn is listening to me!">
There's triumph in Banagher's voice. This has been his goal for so long, and finally, finally--! Maybe it's because of his concussion, lowering his defenses. Whatever it is, Banagher and the Unicorn are understanding each other. Her scarlet light takes on a new hue, feeling warm and protective instead of wrathful.
Banagher feels the fear of the pilots he's battling. It seems to have gone some way to break up the formation surrounding them. Banagher laughs in delight, feeling the Unicorn's triumph echoed in his own heart. Even as they retreat, the Unicorn chases after them, weaving through the worst of the Vulcan fire.
Flying together, truly together, united so closely, it almost feels like they're one spirit. The fact that this is a battle hardly seems to matter, in the moment. Banagher wishes to disable the pilots, so they can't go back and harm anyone. The Unicorn charges forward in response, drawing forth a second beam saber. A third, and a fourth ignite along her arms.
"Unicorn!" Banagher calls, and the Gundam redoubles in speed. Blue starlight trails behind her, melding with her scarlet glow until the machine shines a royal violet.
Coming up on her enemies, all four blades whirl, as the Unicorn overtakes them, then soars back through their retreating line. Slashing again, and again -- severing limbs, leaving the Long Daggers helpless, but never, never hurting the pilots.
Once satisfied with their efforts, the Unicorn races on, Banagher laughing at the speed she maintains. This is everything he's dreamed of, seeing the stars alongside them.

Michi hears the scream, and everything becomes a blank. All is nothing, and merely that voice exists in this instant. The most precious thing in the universe to her. Only a moment ago, Hime-hime had been finding common ground, and it was such a wonderful thing. To hear the twinges of happiness and hope inside her. But now she hears only pain. The sound of... "HIME-HIMEEEEEE!"
She is perhaps, a little overdramatic. Himeyuri is still fine. But that scream activated a primal need to protect her. And so the Galaxia, as the Long Daggers pursue her, pulls back to defend the Saintess. They'll catch up before then. But their sabers stick in the Gardnova's body. Stuck there, unable to pierce further... As its chest opens up. "Your EVIL will end with this blow! Not one further life will you be allowed to trample upon! GALAXIA BLASTER!" Much of the machine begins to go dark, as Michiru reroutes power, focusing it in the core. Focused in the weapon at the core. Its ominous light burns, perhaps blinding to the Long Dagger pilots who dared to get into melee with her. And the sound... The thrum and crackling of gravitational might. "MAX FIYAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Light and sound cease to exist, for those at point blank when the weapon fires. For those watching from afar, it looks like the main gun of the Galaxia is an ocean of stars, rippling through the sky. For those in its path as it races across the distance... Certain death, from intense, crushing force, combined with... Only Hime really knows exactly what this gun does, and what it means to be caught in it. Only one thing is certain. Death is swift. Immediate. More painless than they really deserve it to be. She's going to wipe out wide swathes of the enemy's force today.
She just wishes she knew where their commander was, to take that rat-fiend's head.

Domestic Princess Miri-Miri?! Leina almost goes cross eyed thinking about it. "<Never heard of that one - tell me more about it sometime!>"
As the Long Daggers disengage from Leina, she tries to quickly rush out of the way in a flanking circle but the ZZ's armor is caught by so much Vulcan fire, and finds herself boxed in, before they abruptly fall back.
Anger gives way to worry though, even mild panic, that he'd feel from her, "<Banagher! Even if is - you're still in no state for this! Neither you OR the Unicorn! You're pushing yourselves way too hard! Who knows what could happen!?>"
Her sensors pick up the Colony hangar opening, and the implications cause a surge of panic within her.
Who knows what could happen if G-Hound's experimental Warship targets them while they're engaged with these forces!
Who knows what could happen if Banagher and the Unicorn push themselves harder to face it and to engage the ship.
"<Allied forces. G-Hound's experimental warship may be emerging. We have to prepare the field for us to face it. Sending my targeting data, you won't want to be in the way of this.>"
Leina briefly closes her eyes, as she feels out the flow of battle. In her mind's eye, everything becomes like gleaming shooting stars zipping across the reflections upon the sea like fast moving fireflies.
It overlays the busy battlefield... and suddenly she spots a corridor of black, where there is nothing to strike directly, straight down the center.
Reaching down, she twists a lever - and shifts it inward. A panel slides open in the ZZ Gundam's chest as both the chest and the head start to glow with Plasmic particles.
The best word for what happens next is that the Double Zeta erupts; disgorging a flood of power from High mega Cannon, and it's Diffuse Mega Particle Cannon at the same time.
The two blasts join, and together they become greater than the whole. A blast of this magnitude cannot have been expected from this tiny target from most all G-Hound units on the field.
It fires down a whole empty corridor of the crowded battlefield, missing every single mobile suit on its way...
... except it doesn't. So many mobile suits that only narrowly avoided the blast find that while they escaped certain death they absolutely didn't escape unscathed, alarms blare as so many of their vital systems melt into slag and their armor becomes a dripping mess sloughing off on the outside.
Not a single person would be killed outright. No reactor goes critical. That does not mean it had no effect though, far from it.
Not long after, the Double Zeta goes dark, and into a silent float in the void of space.
And in the dark, and the silence, Leina pleads... "Please let that have been enough."

Michi really is a hero's hero when she wants to be. And in the moment right now, it's delightful, but Hime continues to fret it will make it all the harder to settle down. That's a problem for later, though...
"<Acknowledged!>" She replies to Leina, as she starts running her own firing patterns- and Michiru's. The firing data is transferred by laser in real time to Leina. "<Stay clear, 7-san!>" Oh no she's giving out nicknames now?
The flying white suit is... hm. Concerning. Concerning is what she thinks. That's not how someone should behave in battle- whoever is in that suit is... strange.
And then the Galaxia Blaster fires, and Hime watches the Gravity Beam score the sky. "Good shot Michi!" She yells, and sees the paths. 7-San's beam goes there, and Michiru's crosses over that way... "Michiru, keep up the fire! We'll do a Gekigan Cross Beam!"
And then long range rifle is lifted, aiming for The crossover point- Her eyes glaze over momentarily, and those newtypes who are familiar may hear them rushing in.
The firing calculations. The manual reaction management. The rapidfire numbers. The understanding. How to compress something like this into a small frame. The understanding. The blast.
The whispering voice.
A monotone voice speaks. "<Solanum Xanti, firing.>"
The blast is unleashed, two gravity blasts intercepting a mega beam cannon is a tremendous sight. And terrifying. The meeting point of the two gravity beams bulges out- diffusing the ZZ's cannon a touch, but without weakening it's planned shot. The difference is that the ZZ's blast simply disables- Himeyuri has no such compunctions for killing monsters.

The unicorn moves at speeds that the Long Daggers were not equipped for, and while some can escape, others are not so fortunate and are damaged into submission. Meanwhile the Gardnovas weapon rips through the squad leader that was charging into him, turning him to space dust, catching several others trying to escape it.
The Revernova and the MP ZZ both fire a large blast at the same time, and in a weird way they are a mirror of each other. Several pilots are working to retreat and the half that get caught by the Revernovas blast succeed at the ultimate retreat. Meanwhile the diffusion caused by the Revanova allows for the ZZ to disable more without risking death. For a brief moment it appears the fight is over and the landing parties can begin to move in.
That is until the battleship appears.
From the doors emerges a rather large battleship, almost half a kilometer long as it turns and rotates itself to point to the battlefield. Sensors are screwy when it comes to trying to get any form of idea what this battleship is equipped with. The minovsky saturation around it is crazy, and it just continues to pulse more and more into the area, on par with what a fleet of ships usually produces. Communication with anything not in laser ranger is going on the fritz and sensors are screwy when it comes to trying to get any form of idea what this battleship is equipped with in terms of weapons. The sensors do clear up enough to show that the heat that the reactor is producinging is exponentially greater than normal.
The reason for the increased reactor output is obvious as the two glowing points appear on each side of the battleship. Drawing in light and particles around each cannon before the battleship fires the mega particle blast along the line of the battlefield not caring who it hits. Friends and foe alike were caught in the blast as the battleship cannons glowed red. Then it begins to move again, ever slowly towards the battlefield, the radiation of Minovsky cloaking any signals that enter the cloud and tactically it should be becoming clearer the dangers of this new weapon war.
Over the disrupted comms for all those in the field trying to reclaim the PLANT, <" Retre,... ithdra...egroup. Repeat, ...withdraw... regroup."> The call to regroup and resupply goes out as the battleship continues to approach. It appears this fight for the colony isnt over yet, but with the slow boating battleship , they have some time to stop it before it gets away.
Back in the PLANTs administration colony, stands Blue Cosmoss Commander Roger Thompson as he looks at the new arrival to the office, "Shouldnt you be on the battlefield Lieutenant Soklov?"
