A collection of entries from what seems to be a video diary, retrieved from the memory of a special-edition Haro.

Somewhat blurry, the image of a young man with messy brown hair and a collegiate hoodie comes into being. He reaches forward, looking beyond the camera, adjusting things until he appears more clearly.

"Okay." He says, sitting back and looking into the camera. "I decided to keep a log of everything going on. I don't know when I'll see you again, so..."

The camera is picked up and tilted, showing off the interior of what appears to be a pretty standard room, for a Federation vessel. "I've joined up with the Gwennangorn's crew. They're all really nice."

The young man holds up what seems to be a homemade cookie before taking a large bite. Speaking with his mouth full, he goes on. "Miss Alma made me some cookies. Way better than military rations. The Gundam's here too, they've promised not to mess with it too much." Crunch, crunch. "Maybe they can help me figure all this out. Here's hoping you're safe, Audrey."

Reaching toward the camera again, the entry ends.

"I got to see the Earth for the first time!" The same young man, this time looking excited. There seem to be flower petals in his hair. "It was incredible. People were all hanging out under these flowering trees. A guy was playing the piano, just like my mom used to. Not as well as she did, of course."

Brown hair floats gently in the low-gravity as he rummages in his pocket. His hands seem to be full of the same flower petals as the ones trapped in his hair. "Check it out! I brought you some! I didn't know if you'd ever gotten to see cherry blossoms before, so I made sure to collect a bunch. I hope they'll last... I'll find a bag or something to put them in."

This entry seems to be filmed in the cockpit of an advanced mobile suit. The young man has a normal suit on, white and red, with an emblem of a unicorn above his heart.

"Wound up in a battle." He says, clearly exhausted. "I didn't mean to. But I couldn't stand back when people were getting hurt. It wasn't what I thought it'd be. I almost killed someone."

Slumping in his pilot's chair, the young man goes on. "I can't stay with the Gwennangorn. The Unicorn is too dangerous, and I'm too big a target. They're going to wind up killed, trying to protect me." He hesitates. "I left a note. I hope Miss Alma won't take it too hard. Or Captain Aiden..." He looks to the side. "I'm sorry."

"Been in space alone for a while now. Starting to run out of food."

He's wearing a helmet, this time. There's a little crack in the visor. "Haro crashed into me and messed up my helmet!" It's clear he tries to make this sound light-hearted, but he doesn't quite get there.

"I can't get the next coordinate to unlock. I don't know what I'm doing wrong."

He stares blankly into the camera.

"Hope you're doing better than I am."

The scene opens with the young man laying in a bed, holding the camera up above his face. "Hey! I found a new ship! The Garencieres!" There's color in his cheeks, and he's smiling. "I met Captain Zinnerman and Miss Marida, that girl who chased us back at Industrial Seven. Turns out she's really nice! She let me eat her fries. I like Captain Zinnerman a lot. He's gruff, but I can tell he's a good man. He said they'd help me, even though the Unicorn puts a big target on them."

"The crew's great. I guess you used to be here, too?" A blush dusts his cheeks. "It makes me feel like I'll really get to see you again."

Suddenly, the camera seems to slip in his hands. There's a moment of wide eyes, before it tilts and plummets toward his face with a cut off, "Oh sh--"

"I met this cool girl!" The young man seems to be walking through a rather run-down colony, talking to the camera. "Wow, she's such a strong Newtype! She bought me a hot dog!" He grins, "I think we're gonna hang out again sometime soon."

The next few entries feature increasing amounts of talk about 'Leina', 'Captain Zinnerman', and 'Unicorn'. 'Judau and Roux' appear once, with the young man holding up the camera to show the Garencieres' kitchen stocked with a metric ton of ice cream. He laughs brightly.

"Miss Marida has a bunch of sisters." Brow furrowed, the young man sits against the wall of presumably his quarters, a RX-78-2 plushie in his hands. "I guess they're all child-soldier-clones that Zeon created a long time ago. Leina told me about it. Did you know anything about this?"

The plushie is focused on for a few seconds, as the young man gathers his thoughts.

"Leina knows one of them. Callypso? I think. It was kinda hard to hear her. Callypso really wants to meet Miss Marida. I'm gonna try and help them find each other. They deserve it. It's just too sad..."

Wide eyes, full of a mixture of shock and starstruck awe. "I met. Sayla Mass. The real Sayla Mass, from White Base! Amuro Ray's comrade!" The young man makes a rather unmasculine squeak of excitement. "She's Leina's guardian, and she was, um. Pretty mad at me?" An embarrassed glance to the side. "I've been telling too many people about Unicorn and Laplace's Box. I guess I need to do better about that."

"I went to a musical with Leina!" Holding up what seems to be a playbill, he grins. "I've never seen anything like it. It was our first date! My first date. We went to the Unicorn afterwards, and Leina was so brave. Even though she's had really bad experiences in the past, she came inside with me." A shy little smile, with red-dusted cheeks. "It was, um--" He laughs, embarrassed, covering his face with his free hand. "I'll tell you about it in person."

"Tomorrow evening Captain Zinnerman and I cross the desert. We're meeting some of his old comrades." The young man looks serious, but there's a hint of excitement in him all the same. "They're going to help us get Unicorn to her next coordinate. The Captain says the Federation would never let us through without a distraction."

A proud note enters his voice. "The Captain really picked /me/ to be his second, for such a tough mission. Leina's worried about it, but... I don't think there's any other way. It'll be quick. Just in and out, only stopping long enough to activate the NT-D. I'm sure it'll be fine. The Captain cares way too much to let anyone get hurt."

"I still think about you every day, and um--" The young man rummages in his hoodie pocket, taking out a vial half-filled with what look like rather dessicated flower petals. "I still have these. They're waiting for you, just like me. I'll find you again, Audrey. It's only a matter of time."
