In the wake of 'Break the World' and the damage assessments being performed, it is nearly a footnote in the news that Side 4 has been invaded by terrorists calling themselves 'Cosmo Babylonia'. An aristocratic oligarchy, hostile to the New United Nations Earth.  Despite their presence in the Break the World incident, mysteriously there is little reference to them bearing any responsibility for it.

Inquiries into the state of Tsutsujidai on Side 4 find that it has been strangely untouched, but this is not reported by the media.

Instead pundits and opinion pieces focus almost entirely on the Coordinator presence in the attack, of Patrick Zala extremists, the dominant belief being that despite the strong denials by the League, that too many people in the PLANTS hold strong beliefs in line with Coordinator Supremacism.  As such, they cannot be trusted to be telling the truth.

Many internet figures and influencers from the dominant political parties push the oft debunked theory that Junius Seven was in fact the result of Coordinator negligence in maintenance, rather than a nuclear weapon utilized by the Federation, and thus spread the belief that it was merely being used as a false flag to mete out their anti-Natural agenda on the people of Earth from the Bloody Valentine War onward.

Sentimental pieces on suffering people and children newly orphaned, as well as refugees dominate the immediate News Cycle, with emphasis on a desire for justice in all whom reporters speak to.  The real time casualty reports are blasted on Chyrons, showing ever increasing numbers in the tens of millions for the REA, AEU, and BU, while the numbers in the OCU and Unincorporated Nations slowly tick up to merely four digits.

Resentment against Coordinators and those Unincorporated nations reaches an all time high, while an undercurrent of patriotism has begun to unite people. Reactionary military enlistment into the Gaia Sabers by people newly without homes or future prospects faces an immediate surge, given the benefits of enlistment to those people and their families.

Ever does the Whirlpool of Hatred feel like it is drawing humanity deeper into it's depths.
