This led to her cultivating an interest in cultural and technical pursuits, and combined with her natural intelligence, she excelled in school. Her results were enough to get her employment as an engineer at Nergal, and Maya soon found herself working on a joint venture with Morgenroete to integrate the Image Feedback System into one of their mobile suits. Thrilled at the opportunity, she volunteered herself as the pilot, and soon found herself aboard the Nadesico, not fully comprehending that this would also bring an end to her peaceful days. | ||
