Suletta Mercury may be from space, but she's a small-town girl through and through. She's joined Asticassia as a fish out of water, eager and very, very nervous to be attending her very first school. She made a list of everything she wants to accomplish now she's here, always seeking to 'gain two' by moving forward in life, even when she's terrified. Her supportive mother is always there to encourage her! But Suletta immediately stumbled into Asticassia's Duels for Miorine Rembran's hand. She found herself, alarmingly, as the Holder: winner of the Duels by virtue of her terrifying GUND-ARM, Aerial, and destined to marry Miorine. Both of them view their arrangement as one of convenience rather than love, but even so, Suletta has promised to aid Miorine through her difficult situation. Miorine's the one who needs help, right?

Having never left the colony until she came to school, most of Suletta's knowledge of the wider world comes from a library of books, games, and anime. Without any other young people in the colony, she became deeply dependent on her mother Prospera Mercury, and her mobile suit / basically sister Aerial. She arrived at Asticassia eager to experience all that school life had to offer, and got more than she bargained for when circumstances led her to a duel with Guel Jeturk, an inquiry from the Benerit group about Aerial potentially being an illegal GUND-format suit, a second duel with Guel, and in winning it becoming the Holder - along with the prospective spouse of the Benerit Group heiress Miorine Rembran. She's also become friends with Miorine.
