- Cast: The Glow Cloud
- Where: The other side of the Tsutsujidai PLANT
- Date: Approximately November 20, 0096 (2022)
- Summary: After the kaiju Bujack and the dream it spun are rent asunder, a certain soul is made sad.
Grief is a strong word.
The entity known to Lilimkind as the Glow Cloud isn't grieving over the entity likewise known as the Ninth Angel. The entity known as the Glow Cloud isn't grieving over the entity known as Bujack.
But they are sad.
They are a being of Life, big and strong. They don't have the intellectual complexity of small lifeforms like the Lilim. But they do still have feelings. And they feel sad.
Their brethren is gone. The one who would end conflict with a simple peace is gone.
It's lonely now, on their side of what the Lilim would call a PLANT. They shift and glow alone in the silence of space.
Lilim are such terrifying creatures. Lilim are such wonderful creatures. Lilim have become so dear to them, just as they are dear to the entity known as Tabris. They bonded over this, that day in the park.
It made them happy.
And then they were made scared.
And now they've been made sad.
The Repli-Compoids are not Lilim. But they are like Lilim. They are alike in every important way, save how they were made. And Repli-Compoids and Lilim alike were brought together in the tiny city below.
Their hearts were made still.
Though hatred and conflict still rages in space beyond... in this small place, they were still.
No loneliness. No fear. No sadness. Simply a serene, silent stillness. A simple dream.
The one known as the Glow Cloud wonders... could it be done again?
Could they do this for them?
They're unsure.
It seems hard. It might be beyond them. And the light of their heart shines. It can shine yet brighter, yet brighter, yet brighter still.
They'll watch a little bit longer. Just a little bit. Just to see what becomes of their neighbor.
And then they will do what they must to preserve Lilimkind.
Even against themselves.
