A one-cour animated majokko show that debuted in 0092.

Sparkling Witch Athrusa stars the eponymous young witch Athrusa, who travels to Earth from Makai to befriend the child protagonists of the show. Together, they solve problems using magical artefacts that Athrusa conjures from her bag, typically with a simple life lesson attached, coupled with Athrusa's catchphrase of "I was sent here to help humans! That's my purpose!"

Production-wise, the series is plagued with delays, budget issues due to sponsors pulling out because of faulty heaters tanking their stocks, and a director switch halfway through that resulted in the last two episodes having a jarring tonal shift in which popularity starts having many people demand Athrusa to solve their problems with her artefacts, resulting in the titular witch recalling all her artefacts and leaving to her homeworld forever. The series ends with the child protagonists resolving to become better adults than the ones they saw on that day.
