Hailing ostensibly from an obscure tourist-trap of a colony, Eight York is a promising young officer in Londo Bell, notable for balancing cheer and extreme competence. Her path to Captaincy has seen death and despair already, but she maintains a positive attitude, and her people skills, optimism, and general resilience have won her the loyalty of her crew thus far. ...Secretly, though, the higher-ups in her organization are aware of some details of her mysterious past, including the abilities awakened in her by means she does not discuss.
