"If I had never stopped at that ticket gate and just kept walking at my own pace, would I have happily lived my whole life without ever knowing your face?"

Alt-Universal Century Gundam includes works that are set in versions of the Universal Century that do not comport with the official timeline stretching from First Gundam to Victory Gundam. This page currently only contains one entry, but if other alt-UC entries are chosen for integration, their integrations will live here.

Mobile Suit Gundam Quuuuuux

Amate Yuzuriha and Nyaan, two girls living on a colony in Side 6, are drawn into mobile suit conflict due to their encounters with the Red Gundam and the Gundam Quuuuuux, eventually learning about the nature of their world and the machinations of those in power.

Integration Notes

The following are things that were adjusted, changed, or shifted as part of the integration of Alt-UC Gundam content on SRTMOO.

Basic Setting Data

  • The Sodon is part of the ZAFT New Millennium series of updates of One Year War-era designs. As such, the Space Assembly League plays the role of Zeon in various Quuuuuux-related areas. If there's someone playing the role of Kycilia Zabi in this drama, it's probably Gilbert Durandal, who is certainly no stranger to radicalizing individual refugees to pilot his insanely powerful mobile weapons, getting shot by people he optioned to pilot his insanely powerful mobile weapons because they can't let go of the protagonist's idea of tomorrow, etc.
  • In turn, instead of Zabi palace drama we have to contend with NUNE/Space Assembly League palace drama!
  • Yomagn'tho is an attempt at creating a Thought Elevator/Generation System terminal-like device not tied to the inconsistent, unreliable Generation System (which is known to Durandal to at least some extent). The nature of what's inside it is related to the Generation System and will be made known to a Durandal, Shuji, or Code:Phoenix applicant.
  • The Gundam Quuuuuux and Gundam FreD, accordingly, remain premised on OOPArts/uncaused causality weapons. (By technically being psycommu-based rather than psychoframe-based, they conveniently dodge regulation entirely.) They are made from data gained through the Rose of Sharon, whose nature is not "an Elmeth with Lalah Sune in it" and will be made known to GQuuuuuux or Cosmic Era Gundam-related plot-mover applicants.
  • The Red Gundam is a ZAFT design that exists for certain reasons that will be made known to a Shuji or Challia applicant.
  • Side 6 is still just like that.
    1. Individual Characters
  • Nyaan was orphaned during the start of the Bloody Valentine Conflict and not the One Year War, because, she would be far too baby by far.
  • Deux Murasame and her Psycho Gundam variant are a revisiting of Murasame Labs methodology and design rather than a(n implied) predecessor to the ones seen in Zeta Gundam. Conveniently we hung Dr. Murasame getting active again on the wall in Phase 1.
  • Conveniently, since this was already an 0079 Movies Timeline Primacy version of the setting, Challia Bull is alive; he did indeed serve alongside Char Aznable in Kycilia's Newtype Corps from the period between Jaburo and the end of the war. He is one of the older aces entreated by Durandal as part of the FAITH project. (We recognize that Challia is one of the harder characters to figure out the full motive schema for without G-Quuuuuux's exact setup and are open to discussion.)
  • Shuji Ito's repeated loops take place across multiple kalpic cycles; he is somewhere between Kaworu Nagisa and Euzeth Gozzo on the scale of having imaginary memories and having them inform your present decisions. His motivation is very similar, but the targets of it are not Lalah Sune, Char Aznable, and the pilot of the Gundam *necessarily*. (If you are interested in Shuji we will happily tell you the details here.)

Development Trivia

The following is some trivia about Alt-Universal Century Gundam content and its role in development of SRTMOO.

  • Easiest integration in history. Once the show was finished it took three days and slotted neatly into existing plot.
