2022-01-24: Tsutsujidai's Kaiju
- Resource: 2022-01-01 Tsutsujidai's Kaiju
- Subject: The new availability of a variety of kaiju to BioNet actors.
- Groups: BioNet
- Date: 2022-01-24
- Summary: Alexis Kerib informs the rest of BioNet about what he's offering.
<Alexis Kerib presents as a masked figure on a screen, bright flames flickering behind him. He does not appear to speak; rather, teal panels light up along the part of his mask analogous to a mouth, shifting from teal to black and back as he speaks.>
"In the interest of keeping our relationship mutual, I have made several kaiju available to you. So far, there are two -- Ghoulghilas and Devadadan. I have the services of a designer; for the moment, I'd like her to remain anonymous... she abhors a crowd, you know." The screen blinks off; he reveals two 3D models.
The first: a dinosaur-like kaiju with a long neck and claws that look like massive steel wire protruding from the limbs.
"This is Ghoulghilas; he's quite emotive, wouldn't you say? The claws are mostly vestigial, but should you wish to rain flame down on your enemies, by all means -- be my guest." Every teal panel lights up. A smile.
The second is a somewhat goofier looking pseudo-dinosaur, mostly white, with a sort of hole in the middle that plays host to something that looks like it could be a beam emitter array.
"The second -- Devadadan. You can feel the frustration coming off of it, yes? The emitter in the center doubles as an absorption array; should your foes attack you with the beam weapons common to your people -- or the similar beam weapons common to mine -- it can reduce their impact, then turn them around at its foes. If you expect heavy opposition from a 'Gundam-type' or a Vessel of Light, Devadadan will perform marvelously... provided they lack a more solid weapon."
The video returns to Alexis himself.
"Make good use of them." There is a pause, before he adds, "Do not use them to render aid to a Vessel of Light -- an 'Ultraman,' a 'Gridman,' or the countless things you humans have come to call 'possibility.' The designer would be... upset, to see them used in such a way? And our relationship is mutually beneficial, yes?"
<The feed ends.>
